Media Tagger is an excellent tag editor that stores the information (singer, song, album ...) of the audfio file in MP3, WMA, etc formats. In other words, the data that appears on-screen when you play the songs.

You can also create lists ordered by song, group, style, etc. Players like Winamp let you modify the tags, but only one by one in a dull, slow way. With Media Tagger you can update batches of files in one go, in addition to creating logs in various formats (Excel, TXT, HTML...), rename files or connect to on-line databases.
